1. Before installing the clutch, clean it thoroughly and remove the anti-rust grease and debris.
2. The clutch can be installed coaxially or separately. The axial direction must be fixed. The active part and the driven part are not allowed to have axial movement. When installing the split shaft, the coaxiality between the active part and the driven part should not be greater than 0.1mm.
3. When the wet electromagnetic clutch is working, lubricating oil must be added between the friction plates. The lubrication method is (1) oil pouring lubrication; (2) oil bath lubrication, the part immersed in the oil is about 5 times the volume of the clutch; (3) axial oil supply lubrication. The axial oil supply method should be used for high-speed and high-frequency operation.
4. When installing the tooth-type electromagnetic clutch, it is necessary to ensure that there is a certain gap between the end teeth so that there is no grinding phenomenon during idling, but it must not be greater than the δ value.
5. The electromagnetic clutch and brake are Class B insulation with a normal temperature rise of 40℃. The operating temperature at the extreme thermal equilibrium is not allowed to exceed 100℃, otherwise the coil and the friction part are prone to damage.
6. Power supply and control circuit, clutch power supply is 24V DC (except for special orders). It is obtained by stepping down the three-phase or single-phase AC voltage and full-wave rectification (or bridge rectification). There is no voltage stabilization and flat wave requirement, and the power must be large enough. Half-wave rectifier power supply is not allowed.
7. Requirements for clutch in automobile transmission system
According to the use of the clutch, it should meet the following main requirements:
Smooth and gentle engagement to ensure smooth start of the car,
Quick and thorough separation to facilitate gear shifting and engine starting;
It has appropriate reserve capacity to ensure the transmission of the maximum torque of the engine and prevent overload of the transmission system;
The transmission inertia of the driven part should be as small as possible to reduce the impact during gear shifting;
It has good heat dissipation capacity. When the clutch needs to be frequently operated during driving, the clutch master and driven parts will slip relative to each other, generating friction heat. If the heat is not dissipated in time, it will seriously affect its working reliability and service life;
